I did it finally

I finally upgraded my main computer and firewall this week.

I upgrade my current computer from an i7-7700 to a Ryzen 7 7700X. Does no one see the irony of that. With some added features on the motherboard. 2.5gb NIC and WiFi 6e and Bluetooth. Same ram 32GB capacity but DDR5 speed.

Firewall is being replaced with an I3-14100 and 16GB of DDR4 front facing IO 2u Case. Also, with has 2.5GB nic but don’t know if it will work in pfsense. I’m looking to get a dual nic that is 10gb that can negotiate to 1gb if needed. Looking for a 10g rackmount switch that has ethernet ports and not sfp ports or a few. Hope Microcenter has it so I can grab it tomorrow before Christmas. May or may not upgrade internet to the max comcast has in my area in the future.
